CMIC finished it’s January retreat today. Overall, it was quite successful though setback by a foot infirmiry (mine)! Regardless, we had several long days of work. Significant accomplishments:
- Shipped beta 2
- Deployed new scalable architecture (still need to get the load-balancing working, but the vast majority is finished)
- Deployed an affiliate system
- The basic system for Beta 3 is working. To be released in early February…
- Conducted a brainstorming session
- Company morale hike up Nanshan (I really just wanted to say “morale” for this fledgling company, makes it sound legit!)
We often worked through lunch and dinner. We never ate breakfast together. Seems that we have opposing schedules; I’m a morning lark and Peter’s a night owl (so is Chris). Some pictures from the events:
